Health coverage that actually fits

Health insurance is not one-size-fits-all. A freelancer needs different coverage than a family of four. Someone between jobs has different priorities than an early retiree. The right plan depends on your doctors, prescriptions, budget, and how you actually use healthcare.

As an independent agency, we compare plans from multiple carriers and recommend the one that fits your situation. We explain what's covered, what it costs, and what to watch out for. Our guidance is free — the carriers pay us, not you.

Common questions about healthcare coverage

When can I enroll in health insurance?
The annual Open Enrollment Period typically runs from November 1 through January 15. Outside of that window, you can enroll if you have a qualifying life event — such as losing employer coverage, getting married, having a baby, or moving to a new state. Our agents can help you determine if you qualify for a special enrollment period.
What's the difference between HMO, PPO, and EPO plans?
HMO plans require a primary care physician and referrals for specialists, but usually have lower premiums. PPO plans offer more flexibility to see any provider, but cost more. EPO plans are a middle ground — no referrals needed, but you must stay in-network. The right choice depends on how often you see specialists and whether you want to keep a specific doctor.
How much does health insurance cost?
Costs vary widely based on your age, location, plan type, and coverage level. The key numbers to compare are the monthly premium, annual deductible, and out-of-pocket maximum. A lower premium often means a higher deductible. Our agents help you find the balance that fits your budget and healthcare usage.
Do I qualify for subsidies?
If your household income falls between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty level, you may qualify for premium tax credits that lower your monthly cost. Depending on income, you may also qualify for cost-sharing reductions that lower deductibles and copays. We can check your eligibility during a free consultation.
Can I keep my current doctor?
That depends on the plan's provider network. Before recommending any plan, we verify that your preferred doctors and hospitals are in-network. If keeping a specific provider is a priority, we factor that into every recommendation.
How is this free? What's the catch?
There's no catch. Insurance carriers pay us a commission when you enroll. That cost is already built into the plan's pricing — it doesn't change whether you use an agent or enroll directly. You get expert guidance and plan comparison at no extra cost.
